This Palermo Queen Wall Bed Hardware Kit is for building a custom fold-away bed when floor space needs to work harder. It supplies the steel frame, slatted bed base, lifting mechanism and gold handle, while the surrounding cabinet is built separately.

Use it in a spare room, home office or studio to create a queen-size sleeping area that folds away when the bed is not in use. The completed slatted frame measures 154 x 204 cm and is designed for a 153 x 203 cm mattress.

The black powder-coated steel frame provides the main structure, while the included wooden slats support the mattress. Two 105 kg hydraulic pistons assist with lifting, and the foldable legs move out of the way as the bed is raised. A slow-fall safety system controls the bed’s descent. The mechanism supports a total load rating of 250 kg, with a recommended mattress weight of up to 25 to 30 kg.

This is a practical starting point for a custom queen wall bed, particularly when you want the cabinetry and finish to suit the room rather than buy a complete matching unit.
