This policy explains how Kotimme collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information through our online store and related customer-service activities.
Kotimme is operated by Keiki Collective Pty Ltd (ABN 94 658 379 625), of 6B Cleland Close, Clarkson WA 6030. In this policy, “Kotimme”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Keiki Collective Pty Ltd.
We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, contact details, billing and delivery addresses, account credentials, order and product information, customer-service correspondence, payment transaction references, device and browser information, IP address, cookie identifiers, and information you choose to provide.
Payment-card details are generally collected and processed by the payment provider rather than stored in full by Kotimme.
2. How we collect information
We collect information when you browse the website, create an account, place or attempt to place an order, submit a form, subscribe to communications, contact us, or otherwise interact with the store. We may also receive information from payment providers, fulfilment suppliers, delivery carriers, fraud-prevention services and other providers involved in a transaction.
3. Why we use information
We use personal information to operate the store, process and fulfil orders, calculate delivery, provide tracking and support, handle returns and consumer-law requests, process payments, secure accounts, prevent fraud, maintain business and tax records, improve the website, communicate service messages, and send marketing where permitted.
4. Disclosure to service providers
We may disclose information needed to provide our services to ecommerce and website hosts, payment processors, technology providers, customer-management and email providers, suppliers and fulfilment partners, delivery carriers, professional advisers, fraud and security providers, and government or regulatory bodies where required or authorised by law.
For relevant orders, we share the information required to fulfil and support the order—including the recipient’s name, delivery address, telephone number, email address and order details—with Dropshipzone (operated by New Aim Ltd), the relevant product supplier and delivery carrier. These parties may use the information for order processing, delivery, tracking, returns, warranty claims and related after-sales support. You can read the Dropshipzone Privacy Statement.
5. Overseas processing
Some technology and service providers may store or process information outside Australia. The locations can change according to a provider’s infrastructure. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps required by Australian privacy law when engaging these providers.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
The website uses cookies and similar storage for essential functions such as carts, checkout, account sessions, security and preferences. Analytics, social or marketing technologies may also be used when enabled. Browser settings can restrict cookies, but essential store functions may then stop working correctly.
7. Marketing communications
We send marketing messages only where permitted. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or contact us. Service communications about an account, order, delivery, security or policy are not marketing and may still be sent when necessary.
8. Storage and security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No internet service is completely secure. Information is retained for as long as reasonably required for the purposes described, including legal, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution obligations, then deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
9. Access and correction
You may request access to personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct inaccurate information. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse or limit access where the law permits, explaining the reason where required.
10. Privacy questions and complaints
Submit a privacy request through our Contact Us page and identify it as a privacy matter, or write to Keiki Collective Pty Ltd, 6B Cleland Close, Clarkson WA 6030. We will review the request and respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied, you may have the right to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices, providers or legal obligations change. The current version and update date will be published on this page.
