Description
This Palermo Queen wall bed hardware kit is for building a custom Murphy bed in a spare room, home office or studio. It provides the steel bed frame, slatted base, lifting mechanism and silver handle, while the surrounding cabinet is built separately.
The slatted frame measures 154 x 204 cm and is designed for a 153 x 203 cm mattress. When the bed is raised, the legs fold away automatically, helping the finished cabinet retain a clean front when closed.
The frame is made from steel with a black powder coated finish. Two 105 kg hydraulic pistons assist with lifting, while the slow fall system supports controlled lowering. Wooden slats provide the mattress base, and the complete wall bed has a stated weight rating of 250 kg. The recommended mattress weight is up to 25 to 30 kg.
This kit suits a custom furniture project where the cabinet dimensions and finish are chosen to match the room. Manufacturer recommended cabinet specifications are available on request, which can help with accurate fitting during construction.
