Description
In a spare room that needs to serve as an office by day and a bedroom at night, the Palermo Double Wall Bed creates a practical way to reclaim floor space. The white gloss cabinet closes neatly around the bed, while the gold handle adds a defined finish to the front.
The bed opens to a length of 204.6cm and uses an Australian standard double mattress with a recommended size of 137 x 187cm. It suits apartments, studios, guest rooms and other rooms where a permanent bed would take up too much space.
The bed frame is made from heavy-duty black powder-coated metal and supports up to 250kg. Wooden flexi-slats provide the mattress base, while two 90kg hydraulic pistons assist with lifting and lowering. A slow-fall mechanism controls the opening movement, and the foldable legs provide support when the bed is open. The recommended mattress weight is 20 to 25kg, with a maximum mattress depth of 20cm.
This Palermo wall bed arrives flat-packed with hardware and instructions for assembly. It is suited to confident DIY builders, while professional installation is recommended if you do not have carpentry experience.
Good to know: The cabinet must be fixed to a solid wall. The mattress and storage furniture accessories are not included.
