Description
If your car already has factory wired CarPlay, this Elosung 2 in 1 adapter lets you connect your phone without plugging it in each time. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through the vehicle’s existing infotainment display.
Setup is intended to be straightforward. Insert the adapter into the car’s USB or Type C data port, wait for the interconnection icon to appear, then pair your phone using Bluetooth and WiFi. Once connected, compatible navigation, music, calls and messages can be accessed through the car’s screen.
The adapter supports iPhone 6 and newer models, along with Android phones running Android 11 or later. It uses WiFi and Bluetooth for the wireless connection and has a 5V 1A power input and output. The compact housing combines an acrylic lens with aluminium alloy and measures 55.1 mm high, 28.2 mm long and 9 mm wide.
Some navigation apps may also provide lane-level map rendering, road condition reminders and speeding reminders when used with the adapter.
Good to know: The vehicle must have factory-installed wired CarPlay for this product to function. The adapter does not contain a lithium battery, and connection performance can vary by car, phone and surroundings.
