Description
If your car already has factory wired CarPlay, this Elosung adapter lets you connect your compatible phone without plugging it in each time. It converts the existing wired system to wireless CarPlay and wireless Android Auto through the car’s infotainment screen.
Use it for wireless access to supported navigation, music, calls and messages while driving. Setup requires no driver installation or car disassembly: connect the adapter to the vehicle’s USB or Type C data port, then pair your phone using Bluetooth and WiFi.
The adapter supports iPhone 6 and newer models, along with phones running Android 11 or later. Its 5V 1A connection is designed for vehicles with built in wired CarPlay, and connection performance can vary with the car, phone and surrounding conditions. The compact housing combines an acrylic lens with aluminium alloy and measures 55.1 mm high, 28.2 mm long and 9 mm wide. Navigation functions such as lane level detail, road condition reminders and speeding reminders depend on the navigation app being used.
