Description
When a 4WD loses traction in sand, mud or snow, the X-BULL Gen 2.0 recovery tracks provide a firm surface to help the vehicle move out. This set contains four reinforced nylon tracks with a stated load capacity of up to 10 tonnes on flat ground.
The tracks are shaped for off-road recovery use, with sand, snow and mud grips on the underside. Their U-shaped surface includes spikes designed to help prevent side slip, while the cruciform underside grips the ground and resists bending. The tracks can also be used as shovels when a vehicle is stuck in desert sand or mud.
Reinforced nylon provides toughness, tensile strength, compressive strength and resistance to fatigue and corrosion. The material is also described as thermostable and UV resistant. An ergonomic handle makes the tracks more comfortable to hold, and the Gen 2.0 design uses a dense rivet arrangement to increase friction while keeping the set lightweight and easy to carry.
