The unit can sit on a table or shelf, or be hung on a wall where barking commonly occurs. Its effective range is up to 15 metres, making it suitable for covering most indoor areas when positioned within range and without obstructions.

Automatic bark detection starts the ultrasonic emission when the device identifies barking, then stops it afterwards. The high pitched sound is generally only audible to dogs and is designed to interrupt the barking pattern. Frequency conversion technology is intended to support consistent deterrence. A green LED shows that the unit is working, while a red LED indicates low battery.
