Description
For a bathroom renovation where the shower needs to sit neatly into a corner, this Della Francesca screen provides a 90 x 110cm layout with twin hinged doors. Its frameless construction keeps the glass area open while the two-door arrangement provides access from the corner enclosure.
The screen uses 10mm toughened glass made to AS-NZS2208 requirements. The listed glass components include two 610 x 1990mm door panels and two 280 x 2000mm hinge panels, with the wall-to-wall screen specification listing a 1100mm width.
Four solid brass F-brackets in brushed nickel secure 10mm glass with compression and friction screws, so holes are not required in the glass for bracket installation. The two brass wall-to-wall hinges open inwards and outwards through 90 degrees, self-close from 25 degrees and support up to 45kg. Two 25mm square brass knob handles complete the doors and include plastic gaskets for contact with the glass.
The brushed nickel hardware gives the screen a consistent finish across the brackets, hinges and handles, making it a practical choice for a new corner shower installation.
