Description
For a corner shower that needs a generous entry without a bulky frame, the Della Francesca 90x110cm double-door shower screen combines clear 10mm toughened glass with brushed nickel hardware. It is designed for corner installation and uses hinged doors rather than sliding panels.
The screen includes a 900mm wall-to-wall section with a 280 x 2000mm hinged panel and a 610 x 1990mm door panel, plus an 1100mm wall-to-wall section with a 440 x 2000mm hinged panel and a 650 x 1990mm door panel. This configuration makes use of the corner while providing a wide opening for entry.
The glass is Australian Standard AS-NZS2208 toughened glass. Four solid brass wall and floor F-brackets suit 10mm glass and use compression and friction screws, so no holes are required in the glass. Two brushed nickel brass hinges support dual-action opening in both directions, self-closing from 25 degrees and centring within 25 degrees. Two 49 x 25mm square double-pull handles complete the doors and include protective plastic gaskets.
With no rails or struts across the glass, the screen keeps the shower area visually open and leaves fewer fittings to clean around.
