Description
When an outdoor area needs adjustable shade across a wide span, the Bariloche 5.5m motorised folding arm awning provides a 3m projection from a compact full cassette design. It is operated by wireless remote control, so the awning can be extended or retracted without manual winding.
The awning uses heavy duty folding arms made from 6061 grade aluminium, with dual PVC coated cables that provide high spring tension to keep the polyester fabric taut. The arms are designed and tested to withstand winds up to Beaufort 5, which is 38km/hr.
A powerful 50 Nm Dooya tubular motor sits inside the aluminium roller tube. Setup is plug and play through the supplied 2m power cord with a sealed 3 pin plug, which connects to an outdoor waterproof outlet. If power is unavailable, the manual crank override allows the awning to be operated by hand.
The powder coated aluminium full cassette is finished in black and provides protection against corrosion and dirt. The 280g/m polyester fabric has a UV 40+ rating, while stainless steel nuts and bolts are used throughout the awning assembly.
