Description
When barking interrupts an indoor space, the Elosung Automatic Ultrasonic Dog Bark Deterrent detects the sound and responds automatically. It emits a high pitched ultrasonic signal that is generally only audible to dogs, giving owners a way to interrupt nuisance barking without adding an audible alarm to the room.
The unit can sit on a table or shelf, or be hung on a wall. Its effective range is up to 15 metres, making it suitable for many indoor environments when positioned within range and without obstructions.
Automatic bark detection starts the ultrasonic emission when barking is detected and stops it afterwards. Frequency conversion technology is designed to support ongoing bark deterrence, while the green LED shows working status and the red LED indicates low battery. The device is battery operated, so it can be placed without a power cable, although the battery type and quantity are not specified.
Ultrasonic deterrence works differently for every dog and is intended to form part of a broader training approach. It may not suit puppies under six months, dogs with hearing impairments, or barking linked to fear or territorial behaviour.
Good to know: The grey unit measures 7 x 13 x 20 cm and weighs 0.25 kg. Replace the batteries when the low battery indicator appears.
