Description
When a campsite has hard ground and your vehicle is the only practical anchor point, these Elosung suction cup anchors provide a temporary way to attach camping gear. The four pack is designed for car side awnings, tarps, sun shades and other light tie down jobs where drilling or roof racks are not suitable.
Each anchor uses a lever operated suction cup that locks onto a clean, dry, smooth surface such as vehicle glass or painted metal. The supplied S hooks connect the anchor’s D ring to ropes, bungee cords or carabiners, making setup straightforward at the beach, on a road trip or beside the bush campsite.
The suction base has a stated capacity of up to 10kg per anchor. The anchors are made from ABS plastic, PVC and metal, and the suction design is intended to avoid scratching the vehicle’s paintwork when used correctly. Wipe the surface and suction pad clean before fitting, then check the suction periodically during extended use. They are compact enough to store in a glove box or camping crate when removed.
Use them as temporary tie down points for light outdoor setups, rather than for climbing or heavy industrial cargo.
Good to know: Each anchor measures approximately 13cm long and 5cm high. The pack includes four suction cup anchors and four S hooks.
