Description
When you are setting up an awning beside the campsite, these two adjustable suction cup support brackets provide a no drill way to position awning poles against a smooth camper, caravan, trailer or van surface.
Each bracket has two 68 mm diameter suction cups and a locking lever that engages after the surface has been cleaned and dried. The aluminium alloy frame is 255 mm long and includes a multi slot connector for a range of standard awning pole attachments, camp shelters and car side sunshades.
Installation is tool free. Press the cups onto the surface, engage the green locking lever and adjust the tension with the black knob. At 263 g per bracket, the supports are straightforward to pack with camping gear and store between trips. The suction cups are intended for smooth surfaces, so textured, porous or heavily curved panels may not provide the required grip.
This two pack suits campers who want removable awning pole support without drilling into their vehicle. Use additional securing measures in heavy rain, snow or high winds.
Good to know: Wipe the suction cups with a damp cloth and check them for dirt or wear before use. The brackets are not weatherproof rated, and the supplied guidance limits use in extreme weather conditions.
