Description
For a corner bathroom that needs a defined shower area without a framed enclosure, this Della Francesca shower screen provides a 100 x 110cm configuration with twin hinged doors. The frameless design keeps the glass area open while brushed gold fittings add a clear focal detail.
The screen uses 10mm toughened glass manufactured to the AS-NZS2208 standard. Its corner layout includes door and fixed hinge panels, giving access from the front while enclosing the shower space with glass rather than rails or bulky framing.
Four solid brass F-brackets secure 10mm glass to the wall or floor using compression and friction screws, so holes are not required in the glass for bracket fitting. The two brass wall-to-wall hinges open inwards and outwards through 90 degrees and self-close from a 25 degree position. Two 24mm round knob handles provide a matching brushed gold touch point, with plastic gaskets included for the door glass.
The slimline 2mm rear wall on each F-bracket helps reduce the silicone gap between the wall and glass panel. This is a considered option for a bathroom renovation where panel size, glass thickness and hardware finish all need to be specified together.
