Description

When an outdoor entertaining area needs shade without leaving the awning exposed, the Bariloche 5.5 x 3.0m motorised folding arm awning provides a substantial retractable cover in a neat full cassette design. It is operated by wireless remote control and finished in grey.

The heavy duty folding arms are designed and tested for winds up to Beaufort 5, which is 38km/hr. The awning is suited to outdoor areas where shade is needed during use and can be retracted into its protective cassette when not required.

Its powder coated aluminium outer shell helps protect the rolled fabric from dirt and corrosion. The arms and casing use 6061 grade aluminium, while dual PVC coated cables provide high spring tension to keep the fabric taut. A 50 Nm Dooya tubular motor sits inside the roller tube, and the supplied 2.0m power cord has a sealed three pin plug for connection to an outdoor waterproof outlet. A manual crank override allows operation when power is unavailable, while stainless steel nuts and bolts provide the specified hardware for assembly.

The 280g/m² polyester fabric has a UV 40+ rating, and the full cassette keeps the retracted awning compact against the wall. Remote operation makes opening and closing straightforward when you want shade over a larger outdoor area.

Good to know: The awning measures 5.5m wide with a 3.0m projection. Its supplied carton measures 578cm long, 29cm wide and 41cm high, and weighs 96kg.
