Description
When a stormwater line or longer pipe run needs cleaning, this 12 metre drain snake gives DIY users a drill driven option for working through the pipe. Its steel spring is supplied in three or four sections, making the full length easier to handle during setup and storage.
The kit uses an electric drill as its power source through the supplied shank adapter. Six interchangeable drill bits are included for use with the black spring, giving you different attachments for drain cleaning jobs. A joint breaker set and assembly instructions are also included.
The spring is made from steel and should be cleaned thoroughly after every use, particularly when it has been used in a damp or dirty environment. Applying an anti rust spray after cleaning is recommended to help maintain the spring. When one person is operating the tool, the supplied guidance recommends using a hard PVC pipe from the pipe entrance to the drill to constrain the spinning spring and reduce potential hazards.
